Your Admin contact email address is the "key" to your house...
"You lost the key to your domain (or entire domain account)... let's fix that.
This is an "anonymous" era of internet communication. There's little face-to-face interaction, so it's imperative to verify identity. Therefore the admin contact email has become the "signature" to which domain licenses and account memberships have been bound. If you lose your admin email or fail to upgrade your record when changing email addresses... you're throwing away the key to your house.

Time Saver: If you're using a COOLCOM "Adminemail.com" spam proof re-directed email address, just update the receiving email address through your Customer Center.
The Upshot for updating .ca Domains
If your Admin contact email is lost, dead or non-retrievable and you DO NOT HAVE your CIRA user number and password... CIRA requires that you complete one of the following forms and fax it to our office. Your form must be signed by either the registrant (for individuals) or an authorized representative of the registrant (for a company, church, school, association etc.)
